On July 9, 2025, a day worth remembering! The main structure of Guangdong Walmate thermal’s ‘New Energy Battery Tray Expansion Project’ was successfully topped off! Mr. Liu Jialiang, Chairman of Walmate thermal, along with the entire management team, witnessed this exciting milestone moment together with the core team of the construction party, Huakun Construction Group, and all partners.
The towering structure begins with accumulated soil. Since signing the land agreement in August 2024 and breaking ground in September, within just ten months, the main body of a modern industrial park has risen from the ground. This is not only a significant milestone in Walmate thermal’s development history but also a crucial step in responding to the country’s new energy strategy and deepening industrial layout. After completion, it will greatly enhance our production capacity and technological strength in the fields of new energy vehicle battery trays and thermal management, providing more efficient and safer solutions for domestic and international customers, thus contributing to high-quality development in the new energy industry.

Moving forward, we will fully advance internal renovations, equipment installation, and production line debugging to ensure the project is operational by November 2025 as scheduled. This integrated smart industrial park for R&D, manufacturing, and warehousing will serve as a crucial pivot for Metatech’s expansion into Asia and beyond, driving our continued leadership in thermal management and lightweighting technologies, and contributing to the upgrade of China’s ‘intelligent’ manufacturing.
Walmate thermal ,established in 2011, is a national high-tech enterprise, a provincial specialized, refined, and innovative small and medium-sized enterprise, and a Dongguan city-listed company candidate, among others. It has a strong influence on technological innovation. The company focuses heat sinks and liquid cooling plates on thermal management and lightweight solutions for core components in power electronics, industrial automation control, electric vehicles, especially in the new energy vehicle sector.
